Among all of the chores, one thing that I love doing the least is folding clothes, it just bores me so much that it becomes unbearable and takes me more time than usual. This is also something that takes skills and technique because if you just fold them randomly, they will pile up in your closet and take up more space than they should. Moreover, it would make your closet look untidy, this is why I thought, maybe there is a way to make this chore faster with efficiency.

That’s when I started looking for answers on the internet and there are a lot, but one of the video tutorials that stood out to me the most is this one by Andrea Jean Cleaning on YouTube. It was so simple and quick that it would only take you as fast as 10 seconds to fold a single sweater. What’s even better is that the folding techniques shown are all space-saving, so that solves two problems in one tutorial!
Trick #1
Fold the sweater in half lengthwise, then make sure that the sleeves are nicely lined up, and place the hanger on top with the hook part at the armpit. Next, fold the arms or sleeves over the hanger, then fold the other side, or the body of the sweater over the hanger and sleeves, and you’re done.
Trick #2
Lay the sweater down on a flat surface, then fold both arms over to the front making an “X”, and place a hanger at the bottom with the hook part facing outward. Carefully slide the bottom part of the sweater over to the hanger until the middle, then fold the flap over, and you’re done.
