  • Ruler
  • Marking pen, pencil, or chalk
  • Scissors or rotary cutter and a cutting mat
  • Needle and thread
  • Iron, for pressing
  • Sewing machine

Step 1

Cut the fabrics into strips 2 inches wide by 20 inches long, then get 2 white or black strips and 2 print strips, and arrange them vertically beside each other with the print strips at the middle and the white or black strips at each end.

Step 2

Stitch them together one at a time, and make sure to overlap by about ½ inch at the top each time you add a strip, then iron them flatly and press the seams towards one direction.

Step 3

Cut the edges at a 60° angle, and cut them into triangles, then continue to make more triangles, and arrange them as you like as demonstrated in the video. Once content with the pattern, start stitching them together and finish the quilt however you want.
