This fresh flower quilt tutorial by A Quilting Life on YouTube is one of the prettiest quilt projects I’ve seen and it’s also very easy to piece together. The moment I saw the video tutorial online, I just knew that I had to give it a go and try making my version using my favorite fabric prints and colors.

Step 1
Download the pattern, then cut the fabrics to size, and start making the inner flying geese units. Lay the print rectangle, then place a square on each end, and stitch them diagonally from corner to corner. Trim off the excess and press them open, then repeat the same steps for the remaining pieces.
Step 2
Make the outer flying geese units using the same steps but with the background rectangles and dark print squares. Piece the corner units together, then arrange everything as instructed in the pattern, and start stitching them together pressing the seams as you go.
