This cleaning trick that I found on YouTube by Andrea Jean Cleaning is truly clever and simple, but very effective. You wouldn’t even know that you needed this cleaning hack until you see what it does to make things easier. Not only does it help you to clean hard-to-reach areas effectively, but also quicker than it would usually do. It is a technique that I would probably keep doing from now on, because it doesn’t cost that much, and it does the job but with less hassle and little to no effort at all!

Find an old wooden spoon or a stick of some sort, then grab a sponge or purchase one from the Dollar store, and make a hole on the shorter side of the sponge using a knife or a cutter. The hole should be small so that the spoon or stick wouldn’t slide out. After cutting a hole, insert the handle of the wooden spoon or a stick, then spray a generous amount of all-purpose spray or duster on both sides of the sponge, and start scrubbing. You can use this to clean inside a garbage bin, in between the car seats, underneath the sink area, underneath the chair, bench, or couch, as well as the top shelves, and down the vent. Any areas that are hard to reach or you simply don’t want to put your hands in to clean. But, the best way to use this is to clean in between your window blinds, it is super easy and effective.
