Materials:

  • Yellow yarn
  • Red yarn
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun and glue sticks
  • 2 small bead

Directions:

Step 1

Start working on the head of the chick by rolling a yellow yarn around 3 of your fingers about 120 times. Grab a single piece of yarn and tie it around the center of the rolled yarn, knot it twice to secure the loop, then cut off the excess tails. Grab a tray and place it on top of your work surface to catch the cut-out yarn, then start cutting through the loops around the yarn, and trim until it turns into a small and tight ball shape.

Step 3

Grab 2 red yarn and tie them together at the center about 4-5 times, then set it aside. Do this 2 more times, then join the 3 together, and loop their long tails sideways and knot. Cut off the excess tails, then repeat all of the processes 1 more time to have a pair of feet for the chick. Attach them at the bottom of the chick’s body, then grab 3 red yarn and knot them together at the center about 3-4 times. Loop it sideways and knot, then cut off the excess, attach it at the head of the chick for the beak, and glue on 2 round beads for the eyes.
