Coming over to someone’s house to welcome the new year? Be sure not to come empty-handed! Here’s an easy DIY new year’s bouquet gift you can create yourself. You can choose their favorite champagne, chocolates, and color too. Customize this however you like. You can also give this as a gift for special occasions like birthdays, weddings, or celebrations. Materials:

  • 5.9″ by 4.7′  flower box
  • Styrofoam 1.97″ thick
  • 1-inch wide satin ribbon (blue)
  • blue film for flowers
  • transparent tape
  • stapler
  • decorative spruce
  • Ferrero rocher sweets
  • gold beads
  • your preferred candies

Instructions:

Step 1:

Cut two long ribbons of the same size. Get one and insert the ends on each hole to make 1 handle. Do the same on the other side with the other one.

Step 2:

Cut a long wide strip from the film and crumple it. Use a stapler to secure it in place. Make 3 more pieces.

Step 3:

Insert your wine inside the flower box and measure the size of the styrofoam you need so it will not move inside. Once you have the correct measurement, cut the styrofoam and cover it with film. Use tape to secure it in place.

Step 4:

Place the wine inside the plant box. Use hot glue to stick the crumpled film on the inside edges of the box, then glue the styrofoam. Next, decorate it with spruces.

Step 5:

Glue the chocolates and candies on the spruces.

Step 6:

Decorate the spruce with gold beads and stick them using hot glue.
