Start by cutting the top edge of the paint bucket. Trace the bottom to a piece of cardboard, then cut it out. Cover it with fabric and using hot glue to keep the fabric in place.
Cover the inside and the top edge of the bucket with fabric. Use glue to keep it in place. Glue the covered cardboard on the inside of the bucket.
Put the bucket upside down and find the center. Roll a jute rope into spiral to form a circle. Do not cut the rope. Glue the spiral on the center of the bucket, then keep on making the spiral bigger until it covers the whole bottom. Continue with the sides of the bucket. Do not cover the whole side, make sure the fabric is still showing.
Get the yard cord and wrap it around the top edge to measure. Cut it with that measurement.
Get the yard cord. Fold and measure how long you want the fringes to be. Cut several pieces in that length.
Loop them one by one into the long piece of cord that you cut earlier. Using a comb, untangle the cord. Trim it with a pair of scissors.
Glue on the top edge of the plastic bucket.
Get a small piece of florist wire and braid the cord into it. Insert a small piece of cardboard and place into the center. Bend the sides. Make two. Glue them on the sides of the bucket between the fabric and cord.
Tie the fringes into groups, then cut each one in a pointed shape.
