Looking for something unique and different?  These hand painted feathers are so cool and would look lovely in a vase, on a wreath, tied to a mason jar with twine, or where ever you want to display them! I attached mine, with twine,  to a large piece of rustic looking pottery that sits in my foyer and it makes it really pop, with the added color!

I know many times our kids have plays they are in at school and they are Indians.  These painted feathers would make a great head dress and you can use the feathers afterwards.  These would also look lovely on a Thanksgiving table, painted in fall colors.  So many different ways to put these to use!  It’s a good time to start collecting those bird feathers you see laying on the ground!  Alert your family to keep an eye out for them, but make sure they wash their hands really good after picking them up.

All these girls do in the tutorial is paint designs on their feathers and let them dry!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
