Crockpot recipes have become a staple easy meal for me over the years. I’ve learned how to cook everything from cobbler to bread in my crockpot over the years. There’s nothing easier than a slow roast easy crockpot dinner. Catharines Plates really nailed it with this crockpot Mississippi chicken recipe. It’s got a salty and savory flavor with a little bit of heat. Cathrine said it mimics the flavor of Mississippi pot roast.

Place the chicken breasts into the crockpot.
Add in the ranch seasoning and brown gravy packet.

Place Peperocini’s around the chicken and sprinkle some black pepper on the chicken.
Add in the butter on top of the seasonings. Place the lid on and place the crockpot on high
Check the chicken every few hours to see if it can be shredded. Once the spreading has been done place it back into the crockpot and add the chicken broth and noodles.

Allow the crockpot to continue to cook for one hour more, checking the noodles frequently.
