Summer is almost here and all the blackberry bushes are bearing fruit. We have three big blackberry bushes at the edge of our property and in early summer they are stacked with succulent berries, so I am always on the lookout for a new blackberry recipe to help me cope with the overload. When I saw this awesome video recipe tutorial by The Magical Slow Cooker, on Youtube, I knew I had to make it right away. It is a super simple recipe and it’s made in the crockpot which makes every cooking experience easy and pleasant for me. The minute I saw it I immediately went into the kitchen and got to work. The recipe instructions were simple as well and luckily these ingredients were not exotic or hard to find, in fact, I already had all of them in my pantry and in my refrigerator. If you aren’t growing your own food yet, I highly suggest it, berries especially are really simple to grow. We have them having off our chain link fence and they don’t need very much upkeep at all.
