Best Creamy Salmon Ingredients

  • 4 pieces of salmon
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 12 small tomatoes (slice in half)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 14 oz spinach
  • 1 teaspoon dried spring onions or 1 tablespoon of fresh spring onions
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1.4 oz cheese
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan
  • neutral high heat cooking oil
  • a squeeze of lemon

How to Make Creamy Salmon

Step 1:

Pat dry the salmon pieces. Carefully remove the skin using a knife. Season it with salt and pepper on both sides.

Step 2:

Place a cast iron pan over high heat, then add neutral high heat cooking oil. Once hot, lay the salmon pieces. Cook for 2 minutes and flip. Cook for 45 seconds to 2 minutes, depending on the size of your fillet. Make sure not to overcook it.

Step 3:

Add melted butter to the same pan and add the spinach. Cook for 1 minute, then add the tomatoes, garlic, and spring onions.

Step 4:

Pour the cream and let it warm up. Next, add all the cheese, salt and pepper, then mix well. Make a taste test and adjust seasonings if needed.

Step 5:

Bring back the salmon and cook for 5 to 10 minutes depending on the size of your salmon. Turn off the heat, add a squeeze of lemon, and enjoy!
