  • Scissors or rotary cutter and a cutting mat
  • Fabric pins
  • Needle and thread

How to Make Confetti Star Quilt Block:

Step 1

Download the pattern, cut the fabrics into squares, and then cut them in half diagonally to make two triangles. Make another diagonal cut parallel to the line at 2½ inches away to make a smaller triangle, then cut the diagonal strip on both ends 2½ inches away, one horizontal and one vertical as demonstrated in the video, and do the same steps to the other large triangle.

Step 2

Take the diamonds, then trade them with the lighter fabric, and stitch them back together starting at the center and working your way outward. Press the block unit nicely and trim it to a square, then make 2 more sets, and piece them together to form the confetti star.
