  • 1 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp grated onion
  • 1 clove of minced garlic
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork

For the Sauce:

  • 12 oz bottled barbecue sauce
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1 cup orange marmalade

Directions:

Step 1

To start, remove the crust of the bread slices, then tear them up into smaller pieces. Once done, add 1/4 cup whole milk, then mash the bread until paste consistency. Season with 1 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp ground black pepper. Next, add 2 tbsp grated onion, one clove of minced garlic, 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce, and crack one egg. Mix well. Once done, add 1 lb ground beef and 1 lb ground pork. Mix in the meat well using your hands. Now, scoop the mixture, then roll it in your hands to make a meatball. Place it on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Repeat until you finish up the mixture.

Step 2

Now, in a preheated skillet with a little bit of oil, add the meatballs and brown the surface (about 3 to 5 minutes). Once done, place the meatballs back on the baking sheet, then pop them in the oven at 375 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes. In the meantime, make the sauce. In the same skillet, add 12 oz bottled barbecue sauce, 1 cup of fresh or frozen cranberries, and 1 cup of orange marmalade. Mix well, then cook on a low simmer until cranberries begin to burst, making the sauce thick. Once the meatballs are fully baked, add them to the prepared sauce and toss. Serve and enjoy!
