It’s also ideal for a busy weeknight – combine all the ingredients in a mixing bowl, and dump them into your crockpot with the pasta sauce. When it’s finally dinner time; just transfer it into a serving plate, and garnish it with some parsley. You’ll surely have clean plates after mealtime. 

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • salt and ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup of fresh breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • dried mozzarella cheese, cubed
  • 1/2 cup freshly chopped parsley
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 jars of pasta sauce

Directions:

Step 1

Add the ground beef and ground pork to a large mixing bowl and season with salt and ground black pepper to taste and 1 tsp garlic powder. Next, add 1 cup of fresh breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese, two eggs, 1/2 cup milk, and 1/2 cup freshly chopped parsley. Mix everything together with your hands. Once done, take small amounts of the meat mixture, and roll it in your hands. Repeat this until you finish the meat mixture.

Step 2

Now, take a meatball and a piece of cubed mozzarella cheese, press it into the center, then carefully reform the meat around the cheese. Repeat these steps for all the meatballs. After this, start prepping the slow cooker. Add one jar of pasta sauce, then arrange the meatballs inside. Once done, pour the other jar of pasta sauce over the top. Place the lid on the slow cooker, set it on high, and cook for 2 1/2 hours or until the meatballs are completely cooked. After cooking, transfer it to a serving plate and garnish with some freshly chopped parsley. Serve and enjoy!
