Jelly nougat is a must every Christmas at our parties, it is a staple dish that must not go missing on the table, and it is a dessert that I enjoy eating. This year, I want to try something new by introducing a new take on the famous nougat and serving a different version. If there’s one thing I’m sure about is that if you’re a big fan of chocolate just like us, then you’ll probably go crazy for this candy! It’s easy to make, quick to prepare, and incredibly delicious.

It is filled with yummy chocolate hazelnut filling, then coated with chocolate, and also includes real hazelnuts! It’s overloading with chocolatey goodness and is very addicting, too. Ingredients for Chocolate Nougat:
- 200g or 1¼ cups of dark chocolate chips
- 400g or 2½ cups of white chocolate chips
- 500g or 2 cups of hazelnut spread
- Hazelnuts
- 100g or ¾ cup of dark chocolate chips
How to Make Chocolate Nougat:
Step 1
Heat the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl until melted, then some on the bottom and sides of the rectangular baking dish until well coated, and let it set until hardened. Pour in the remaining melted chocolate and spread at the bottom evenly, then set it aside. Melt the white chocolate, then add the hazelnut spread, and give them a good mix until combined and uniform.

Step 2
Add the hazelnuts, then fold them in until evenly incorporated, and pour them into the chocolate-coated baking dish spreading the mixture evenly. Melt more chocolate, then spread it on top of the mixture until covered, and place it in the fridge to chill and set overnight. Once hardened and completely set, cut into pieces, then serve, and enjoy!
