This baked apple recipe by Downshiftology on YouTube is filled with many sweet Fall flavors. It’s a simple yet cozy dessert that’s still in the form of a whole apple. I think it’s like a different version of apple pie, but with less effort and healthier. This is a unique dessert, and easy to make because all you need to do is mix the seasonings, scoop out the apple core, fill them up, and bake. Plus, it’s an overwhelming sweet dessert, but will still satisfy your sweet tooth. Also, it’s perfect for the holiday season and would be different to make these instead of a traditional apple pie.

Next, core the apples, and use the cinnamon oat mixture to stuff the apples. Pour the apple cider vinegar or apple juice into the bottom of the pan. Bake the apples for 45-60 minutes, basting a couple of times throughout with the liquid from the pan.

Overall, the presentation of these baked apples looks so healthy and delicious. You can top off the apples with a scoop of whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, or caramel drizzle. This looks so good, and I can’t believe I’ve never had this type of baked apples before. I think this recipe is unique specifically because she uses whole apples to bake with a cinnamon oat filling.
