Cheesy Bacon-Wrapped Pineapple Rings Recipe

These bacon pineapple donuts are so simple to make and so good that you wouldn’t want just one piece, you might not even want to share them at all, that’s how delicious they taste. This is a great recipe idea for BBQ parties, cookouts, or other gatherings, and I bet it’ll be a hit for your guests.

Ingredients for Bacon-Wrapped Pineapple Rings:

Large onion, cut into rings
Smoked bacon strips
Pineapple rings
Parsley
BBQ sauce
American cheese, cut into strips

How to Make Bacon-Wrapped Pineapple Rings:

Step 1

Remove the pineapple rings from the can and drain off the juice, you can reserve the juice for other recipes you want later. Cut off both ends of the onion, then slice it into rings, and pick the large ones about the same size as your pineapple rings.

Step 2

Cut the cheese into strips, then chop the parsley into small pieces, and set them aside. Insert the bacon through the hole of the pineapple ring, then insert another making sure both bacons are going the opposite directions as shown in the video, and then put some cheese strips on the sides of the pineapple ring.

Step 3

Place the onion ring around the pineapple ring and let it hold the bacon in place, then start carefully wrapping the bacon around the pineapple, cheese, and onion as demonstrated in the video.

Step 4

Do the same with the rest of the ingredients, then place them in a baking tray, and broil, bake, or grill them at 400°F for about 30 minutes. Remove them from the oven, then brush the surface with BBQ sauce, and bake them for an additional 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
