- Floor cleaner or liquid detergent
How to Make a Toilet Freshener:
Fill a plastic bottle with floor cleaner (whatever brand you want), then heat a needle, and pierce a hole in the bottom part of the bottle. Flip it upside down so that cleaner won’t release through the hole just yet, then put the bottle inside the toilet tank, and make sure to stand it right up.
Now, the cleaner will slowly release into the water in the toilet tank and it will automatically clean and disinfect the toilet every time you flush, and will also make it smell good at the same time. You can also swap the floor cleaner with ¼ to ½ cup of liquid detergent diluted with water. This can last for up to 3 months and will make your bathroom smell fresh 24 hours a day!
