This is probably one of the most beautiful Christmas decorations I have ever seen. It is truly an eye-catching piece! When I saw this DIY tabletop Christmas tree idea from Nick’s Seasonal Décor, I immediately went out to buy all the materials I needed and made my version of it. It is perfect for a dining table, work desk, or coffee table.

This Christmas project is super easy and quick to make. It will not take you more than 10 minutes to finish it! I love how simple and gorgeous it looks, even with just the bow. But if you want to decorate it with mini Christmas balls or ornaments, go ahead. Be as creative as you want to be! I am sure it will turn out beautifully, especially when the lights are on.

Easy Tabletop Christmas Tree Materials

  • 18-inch grapevine cone
  • artificial Norfolk pine
  • hot glue
  • string lights
  • 7/8 inch red ribbon
  • red pipe cleaner

How to Make a Tabletop Christmas Tree

Step 1:

Using a wire cutter, cut the stems of the artificial Norfolk pine.

Step 2:

Grab the 18-inch grapevine cone. Attach the stems one by one in the grapevine starting from the top using hot glue. The leaves should go down. Since the stems are long, you don’t have to fully cover the whole cone. Distribute them as much as you can so the cone is not visible.

Step 3:

Take the string lights and wrap them all around the tree. It is recommended to turn the light on while wrapping to make sure that you are spacing them evenly. Use the greenery to cover the wire.

Step 4:

Hold the red ribbon with your index and thumb and make three to four loops on either side. Secure it with a red pipe cleaner. Place it on top of your Christmas tree. Take some ribbons and wrap them on the sides of the tree. See the photo below for reference.
