I found a pair of lamps last weekend at my neighbor’s yard sale and the shape of the shade and the lamp itself were wonderful and perfect to flank each side of my couch, but the color was terrible. So I went searching online for a DIY idea to bring these lamps up to scratch. I found this awesome DIY scrap fabric lamp makeover by Mark Montano, on YouTube, and I knew this would be a perfect idea to cover up the lamp’s blemishes.

I just love the look of this project, and remember, you can always glue in some fabric panels if you don’t want the bare bulb showing.
