With fall around the corner, it seemed like the perfect time to test out this project.  Would it work? Was it as easy as Pinterest made it look?  Armed with Modge Podge, leaves, and tons of advice left by commenters on the original post, I was ready to test this extremely popular pin and make my own decorative leaf bowl.

The Fall Season means tons of beautiful bright autumn leaves. Don’t you just love it when the leaves change its color? Since we have loads of autumn leaves in our backyard, I decided, ‘why not do something with them?’

All you will need for materials is loose leaves or leaf garland that you detach, Modge Podge, a foam brush, a bowl or a balloon, and a mixing bowl.

If you don’t live in a place where you can gather leaves from trees you can go to the Dollar Store and buy a bag of 50 Fall leaves and a really big bag of foam brushes (for a $1.00 each!).

This crazy weather has made it hard to feel like it’s actually Fall, although some 70 degree weather is nothing to complain about!  To celebrate this lovely autumn season, we brought the warm colors inside with this DIY leaf bowl!

Watch how Diyncraftpriscilla does this in her simple step by step tutorial so you can make this beautiful fall bowl.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
