I love sewing and have a whole room dedicated to it; that’s why excess fabrics are no stranger to me. So I’m always looking for projects where I can reuse them, and today, I’ve found this cute DIY from Red Blossom Designs on Youtube. These bracelets are not just cute, but they’re super fashionable. Learn how to make these by watching the video tutorial below.

Materials:

  • 2 cm x 80 cm fabric strip
  • iron, for pressing
  • scissors
  • needle
  • string
  • yarn
  • bangles

Directions:

Step 1

Fold the fabric strip horizontally, then press. Sew it with a 5 mm seam allowance. Nip the end diagonally, then attach a string using a needle and put it through the hole of the fabric strip. Next, attach four strands of yarn all through the fabric strip. Cut the excess on both ends.

Step 2

Now, get your needle with thread and sew the string fabric into the bangle. Wrap the string fabric into the bangle and secure it in place by sewing. Repeat this until you have wrapped the bangle completely. When you reach the end, cut the excess yarn and fabric, then sew.

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
