If you’re looking for a fabulous idea for a gift basket, you gotta try this DIY project out! She paid only $2 at the Dollar Tree for the basket and twine and didn’t use a whole roll of twine.

Since seeing this tutorial, I’ve taken advantage of this little jewel of a project! I needed to take a gift to a friend’s house last week and I made this basket, in no time, and filled it up with cheeses, grapes, coffee, chocolates and a bottle of wine.  It was a big hit! This is a great thing to make for weddings, showers, birthdays, holidays, etc.

You can just use your imagination when it comes to what you want to put in this great little basket. Little towels are cheap and if you really want to make it special you can get one monogrammed, since the basket will cost you only $2…or not.

Men especially love this gift and it’s a relief to finally have a gift idea for a man! I wish I’d known about this years ago. It would have saved me so much time from racking my brain trying to come up with something to give the men in my family gifts!

So gather up that basket, twine and glue gun and get busy making this great gift basket! But, first, watch Melanie Czoka Simmons step by step tutorial!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
