In this step by step tutorial, DIY Foto Works will teach you how to make your very own coffee pod holder. You can just attach this to your wall, saving up so much space in your kitchen or coffee corner. It’s quite easy to make, just follow the rules diligently and you’ll have an amazing result. Watch the video tutorial below to learn the step by step instructions.

Materials:

  • 1/2″ plywood
  • 1 1/2″ square oak

Directions:

Step 1

Cut the plywood into 7 1/2″ width x 24″ long, then cut the oak into 1 1/4″ x 1/2″ strips. Place two strips on both long edges, then the other one right in the middle. Put one coffee pod to determine the spacing, then mark the part on the oak strips that need to be removed so you can insert the pods. The two outer strips will only have a single groove while the middle piece has two grooves on each side.

Step 2

Once done, position the strips on the plywood and test if the coffee pods would slide freely. Cut another wood piece for the bottom stopper, then attach it to the plywood first. Let it dry completely. Next, mark with painter’s tape (or masking tape) where the glue will go for the oak strips. (You can stain the wood pieces at this point if you like to add some colors.) Brush the glue on the plywood, then attach the strips. Put a weight on top and let the glue dry completely. Once done, attach the holder to your kitchen wall and insert your pods!
