When I saw this tutorial I was surprised because all along I thought I needed all this expensive apparatus in order to complete the project.  I’ve always loved things like this and I’ve already gotten busy making them.  They turned out fabulous too!

I always thought I needed a kiln to create pottery.  This is why I was so surprised when I saw I could make these!  I painted the bowls I made like these fruit bowls she does in the tutorial, but I also looked up some bright colored Mexican pottery and painted amazing larger bowls.  I got my kids involved and they painted some wonderful bowls.  I love children’s art…there’s nothing like it!

This is what I’m giving as Christmas presents this next Christmas!  I’ve also made some of these for house warming gifts and my friends absolutely adore them!

Watch this step by step tutorial so you can make these beautiful bowls and other things!  Make sure to SHARE this with your friends on Facebook!

Since I lover experiments, I’ve alwaysnloved to create, paint, as well as cook and style food. I feel in love with DIY as soon as I discovered it and could not have been more excited when I learned I could share projects with people around the world. Taking photos is a passion of mine, as is design and painting with oils. I love holidays and celebrations, crafting cute little gifts and serving up at least one new recipe I am excited about.
