I found this lovely decorating tutorial to use on a basic Sugar Cookie that looked perfect, Since I love to sew and these cookies have the coolest looking cross stitch pattern on them, I could not wait to get started on these. I already knew how much fun they would be to decorate. To make some yourself, you just need a few simple ingredients:

Ingredients:

  • A batch of your favorite heart-shaped sugar cookies
  • Edible icing grids tutorial by My Little Bakery On Youtube
  • Icing in various colors (Red, White, Green, Yellow, and Pink)
  • Plastic Bags (for squirting your icing onto these cute little cookies)

First, stick your edible icing grids onto a pre iced cookie by lightly brushing it with a bit of water, then cutting the grid around the shape of the heart with scissors.
