Cookies and Cream Popcorn Recipe

My family just can’t get enough of this, cookies and cream popcorn recipe from the SimpleCookingChannel. I’ve been trying all kinds of cookies and cream recipes lately. I’ve tried Cookies And Cream Brownie Cheesecake Bars and Cookies And Cream Cheesecake Cookies lately. This popcorn recipe is the perfect sweet snack for a movie night, and best of all, it only takes a few minutes to make. It really only takes about 5 minutes to make if you use a microwave bag of popcorn as I do. Try this recipe next time you have a night in to just watch movies and relax and need a sweet snack.
Ingredients Needed For This Recipe:
- Popcorn
- Oreos
- White Chocolate
- Crisco
Directions:
Step One
First, crush up your Oreos. Take out some of your Oreos and put them in a bag to crush them up. You want to get them crushed into small chunks of Oreos, not a powder. The small chunks will make the cookies and cream flavor stand out more.

Step Two
Pop your popcorn. You can use a bag of popcorn, or make it in a pot with hot oils and kernels. Once the popcorn is done, add your oreo crumbs in.
Step Three
Melt your white chocolate in a bowl with Crisco, or another kind of vegetable shortening.

Step Four
Finally, add the white chocolate to the popcorn and Oreo crumbs mixture. Mix it up well and try to coat each piece of popcorn with chocolate and Oreos. Once the popcorn is well coated, you can let it cool in the fridge for a few minutes then it is ready to eat.
