I love to decorate holiday cookies and all of my friends and family just love getting their share of these delicious morsels during the holidays. When I found this new Christmas sugar cookie video recipe tutorial by Tasty, on YouTube, I had to try it. This sugar cookie recipe has some really cool secret ingredients, like cream of tartar and cream cheese, that make these cookies really special.

Ingredients For The Christmas Sugar Cookies:

  • 1 1/2 cups of softened butter
  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 3 tablespoons of cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon of Kosher salt
  • 3 1/2 cups of sifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons of cream of tarter
