I am not going to lie, this chewy coconut bars recipe by My Ol’ Lady’s Cookin’ Show is the best dessert that I have tried in a while. The flavors were amazing! I was looking for coconut dessert recipes and stumbled across this recipe video. I thought I should give it a try as the thumbnail looks delicious, and it surely did not disappoint. The bars have the perfect balance of sweet, nutty, and buttery taste, and they are incredibly moist. They are actually quite addicting. I couldn’t count how many bars I had eaten when I made this recipe at home. I highly suggest you try to make these treats. They are super easy and only require a few ingredients.

Add the butter to a pan over heat and let it melt. Keep on stirring until browned.
While warm, add the light brown sugar and salt. Mix until well combined.
Add the eggs one at a time, mixing after every addition.
Add the baking powder, vanilla extract, and flour. Mix until well incorporated.
Stir in the coconut flakes.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper and spray with cooking spray. Transfer the mixture and spread evenly.
Place inside the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes at 350F. Let it cool before cutting into bars. Serve and enjoy.
