I love preparing myself a delicious meal in the morning, and I often choose salty and savory dishes that can give me energy before I start my day. Ingredients:

  • 12 slices of bread
  • 3 oz of butter
  • 7 oz of cheddar cheese (you can also use cheese slices)
  • 7 oz of ham
  • 2 pieces of eggs
  • 3.5 oz of cooking cream
  • salt

Instructions:

Step 1:

First, melt the butter, then brush the slices of bread with it. Cut the cheese in half. Place one on the bread, followed by the ham, then another slice of cheese. Do the same for the remaining slices. Combine two slices of bread.

Step 2:

In a bowl, crack 2 eggs and add 3.5 oz of cooking cream. Season it with salt then beat until well combined.

Step 3:

Dip each of the sandwiches in the egg mixture. Flip them to soak the other slices of bread.

Step 4:

There are two ways to cook these sandwiches. You can either place them (1) in an oven or (2) in a pan.

 

For the first method, preheat the oven to 392 degrees F. Next, prepare a baking dish by greasing it with melted butter. Arrange the sandwiches in the dish, then sprinkle them with grated cheese. Place them in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes.

 

For the second method, grease a pan with oil, then place the sandwiches. Cover it with a lid and cook for about 2 minutes on each side on low heat (5th degree).
