But if you always cook a ton of meals and don’t always clean it after use, you probably want to do it yourself and deep clean it. This includes the baskets, racks, heating element, and the outside. No need to put a lot of energy into scrubbing the grime and grease with this technique!

What You Need to Clean Grease From Air Fryer

  • hot water
  • dish soap
  • non-scratch scrubber sponge
  • soft cloth
  • brush

How to Clean Your Air Fryer

Step 1 :

Fill a sink with hot water and add a squirt of dish soap.

Step 2:

Soak the pan and basket for 10 minutes in the water with dish soap to help soften any of the stuck-on food.

If there’s any food stuck to the heating element, wipe it with a sponge or a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using steel wool or anything too abrasive which can harm the coating on the heating element.
