Ingredients:

  • 1 organic banana with the skin
  • water
  • a sprinkle of cinnamon (if preferred)
  • stevia for sweetening – optional

Instructions:

Step 1:

Cut off the top and bottom of the banana. Do not remove the peel.

Step 2:

Fill a pot with water and place over heat. It is better to use spring water or filtered water for this recipe. Let it come to a boil. Once boiling, add the banana. Continue to boil for about 10 minutes.

Step 3:

While boiling, sprinkle some cinnamon and add the stevia to sweeten the liquid. Stevia helps to even out blood sugar levels, and will not raise blood sugar levels before bed. Add more cinnamon if you like.
