I can not stress how much I love these apple crumble muffins. Out of all the muffins I have tried to make at home, these have been by far the best tasting ones I’ve ever made and some of the easiest ones I’ve made as well. Check out this recipe to make your own delicious apple crumble muffins.
Not long ago, my daughters school was hosting a bake sale, and each child was required to make a baked good. I wanted to strand away from what all the other kids were bringing such as boring chocolate chip cookie and brownies. The idea of making my grandmothers delicious apple crumble muffins, which I forgot about for years, popped into my head. It was perfect. We didn’t even have to go to the grocery because we had everything in our pantry. They were super easy to make and I knew they turned out great, since all of the other mothers begged me for the recipe, afterwards.
For the Crumble:
Take a large bowl and mix the milk, vegetable oil, vanilla, and egg together with a whisk. Then using a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients together which contain the flour, sugar, package powder, and salt.
Peel and cut up the two apples into small pieces. Then pour the apples into the dry mixture and coat completely with the powder. After that, pour in the wet mixture and stir completely.
Next, make the crumble by mixing the butter, flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon together with your hands, breaking down any lumps.
Lastly, fill the muffin cups 3/4 full with the batter leaving the remaining room for the crumble. Cook at 350°F for 20-25 minutes and serve once cooled.
I definitely recommend trying these muffins as they are a personal favorite of mine. For a full how-to, check out the video below!
