How To Make Pineapple Upside Down Cheesecake

• 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 20-oz. can pineapple rings in juice

For the cake:

• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 1/3 cup oil
• 1 cup pineapple juice
• 3 eggs

For the cheesecake:

• 3 8-oz. packages cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup sugar
• 3 large eggs
• 1/4 cup sour cream
• 2 tsp. vanilla extract
• 1/2 tsp. kosher salt

First, preheat the oven to 350F. Mix the vanilla cake box batter then, use a cake pan to melt butter in the oven. Add and spread the brown sugar to the bottom of the round cake pan.
