Apple cinnamon butter reminds me of Texas Roadhouse because their butter is sweet and melts perfectly with their hot rolls. This apple cinnamon butter recipe by Rockin Robin Cooks on YouTube is very simple to make with only 5 ingredients needed. Also, it makes a great gift for the h0lidays by adding the apple cinnamon butter into a small mason jar with a ribbon. I love the idea of sweet and cinnamon flavored butter because it makes some foods more interesting. Interesting in a way where the cinnamon and flavors are infused into the butter that it would melt into whatever you put it on or in. You can double the recipe and make a big batch to store in the fridge. It saves a lot of time, but it’s a quick recipe regardless. It would be great to have a few jars of apple cinnamon butter already available, because I know I’ll be going through them fast.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cube of butter (1/2 cup) softened (at room temperature)
  • 5 tsp. unsweetened apple sauce
  • 2 tsp. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:

First, take the softened butter and place it into a bowl. Take your mixer and whisk the butter so it’s easier to mix the rest of the ingredients together.

Next, mix the apple sauce, white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon together. Use a flat spatula to scrape down the bowl and make sure everything is mixed in well. Make sure to whisk for a couple of minutes so the sugars are dissolved within the butter.
