I love cooking anything in the crockpot, why I had never thought of making Beef Stroganoff in the crockpot is beyond me. I saw a recipe for crockpot Beef Stroganoff Casserole made with delicious egg noodles on Youtube and had to try it, after all, I love Beef Stroganoff and I also love my crockpot so it was an obvious match made in Heaven for me. The recipe couldn’t be easier, I just put my 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, 12 oz. of cream cheese (softened), 1//2 cup beef broth, 1 can cream of celery soup, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, 1 packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix, 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce, and 1 1/2 tablespoons Kitchen Boquet Browning Sauce in a bowl and mixed all those ingredients into a creamy paste.
Then I took my luscious creamy mixture over to the crockpot and add ed my washed stew meat, onions, and mushrooms to the crockpot then stirred in my creamy seasoned mixture.
I then just set the crockpot on Hi and cooked this absolutely delicious Beef Stroganoff for 5 to 5 1/2 hours. Then I added a pint of sour cream at the end and the cooked egg noodles.
It turned out so delicious and my family loved it! I highly recommend this recipe.
