Ingredients for Maple Pecan Blondies:

  • ½ cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup of pure maple syrup
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp of baking powder
  • ¼ tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp of nutmeg
  • 1 cup of pecan, chopped

Maple Glaze (optional)

  • Powdered sugar
  • Maple syrup

How to Make Maple Pecan Blondies:

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 350°F, then grease a 7×11-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray or butter, or line it with parchment paper, and set it aside.

Step 2

In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the melted butter, brown sugar, and maple syrup, then whip it until smooth and combined, and add the egg and vanilla extract.

Step 3

Continue to whip until fully incorporated, then slowly add the flour, baking powder, and salt while mixing continuously until thoroughly combined.

Step 4

Add the pecans and fold them in until evenly distributed, then transfer the batter into the prepared baking pan, and spread it evenly.

Step 5

Place it in the preheated oven, then let it bake for about 20 to 25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted at the center comes out clean.

Step 6

Once done baking, remove the blondies from the oven, then let them cool in the pan completely, and cut it into squares. Serve and enjoy!
