The secret to making the best oven-baked ribs is preparing and cooking it properly. If you have never tried cooking one at home, try this recipe by Recipe 4 Me. It’s super easy to follow and guarantees you the baked ribs you are looking for. Serve with potato salad, cornbread, coleslaw, cornbread muffins, baked beans, or mac and cheese for a delicious meal.
Start by preheating your oven to 275F.
Get a large sheet pan and layer it with aluminum foil.
Place the rack of baby back ribs into the prepared pan and remove the membrane from the underside by pulling it with your hands. It can be chewy or rubbery and it prevents the seasonings from penetrating the underside of the ribs. Dab all of the sides with a paper towel.
Sprinkle your favorite rub on all sides, then gently rub into the ribs.
Cover it tightly with a foil, then place it inside the oven. Bake for 2 hours.
After 2 hours, take it out from the oven and remove the foil. Get another baking pan and line it with clean aluminum foil. Transfer the ribs to the new pan. Flip it over, then brush it with your favorite BBQ sauce. Flip it back and brush BBQ sauce on top.
Raise oven temp to 400F. Place back the ribs and cook uncovered for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes remove it from the oven and serve. Enjoy!
