What made this dish extra special is the secret ingredient that helps bring out the flavor of the BBQ, and that’s bourbon! Learn how to make this now and give it a try.
Sauce
Step 1
In a large bowl, add the BBQ sauce, bourbon, dark brown sugar, sriracha, yellow mustard, neutral cooking oil, garlic powder, kosher salt, and ground pepper, then stir them until fully incorporated and smooth, and set the sauce aside.
Step 2
Clean the chicken and cut it into small bite-sized pieces and do the same cut for the bacon slices, then thread them alternately onto the skewers. Preheat your grill to medium-high for about 10 minutes, then grease the grill with a nonstick cooking spray, and lightly brush both sides of the skewers with oil.
Step 3
Place them on the preheated grill, then allow them to cook for about 2 to 3 minutes, then flip them over, and baste the top or cooked side with the prepared sauce. Keep turning, brushing the sauce, and cooking until done and cooked through. Serve immediately and enjoy!
