Start by folding the square in half diagonally to make a triangle, right sides together.
Make two marks on one of the diagonal sides for the opening. Sew all around the sides with a 1/4″ seam allowance, except for the opening. Trim the corners. Fold the seam open on the opening side. Flip it right side out through the opening. Sew the opening to close.
Fold it in half to make a crease. Open and bring one corner a bit over the center, then take the other corner and fold it up to the center just like in the photo below. Press flat then pin in top place. Sew on the bottom edge.
Place the objects that you will store inside like pens, eyeglasses, or utensils, then roll them.
Poke a hole just below the tip, then attach the stud and post of the snap button. Next, mark where it lands on the roll. Poke a hole and attach the cap and socket of the snap button to the mark.
