How to Use Baking Soda to Get Rid of Pests

1 – Fleas

Sprinkle baking soda on your carpets or furniture. Using a brush, rub it into the fabric. After that, vacuum your home thoroughly. Remove the contents of the vacuum and place them in a bag. Throw it in an outside bin.

2 – Mice and rats

In a container, mix a cup of cornmeal with either a cup of powdered chocolate mix or sugar and a cup of baking soda.

Fill jars with the mixture until they are about halfway full. Place them in areas where you see them.

3 – Cockroaches

Mix equal parts of baking soda and sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle it in corners where you’ve seen roaches.

4 – Ants

Mix equal parts of confectioners sugar and baking soda in a container. Sprinkle the mixture on high-traffic areas where you have ants. Make sure to scatter it outside on mounds, stepping stones, firewood piles and base of trees.  You can place the mixture inside the soda can so your pets won’t be able to access it.

5 – Bedbugs

Sprinkle baking soda around the mattress and the area around the bed. Vacuum it after a few days.

6 – Centipede

Sprinkle baking soda on your carpets before vacuuming to eliminate excess moisture in your home. If they are crawling in your pipe. Mix half a cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar. Pour the mixture into the drain.
