Puff pastries are fun to make and very delicious, and one of my favorites is this one by How Tasty on YouTube. What I love about this dessert is that it’s very simple to prepare and the ingredients are very easy to find as well, some of them might already be available in your kitchen.

So, if you have some apples available and you don’t know what to do with them, then check out this recipe, and give it a try, you might just love it! Proceed to read the instructions down below and watch the video tutorial as well for more detailed steps.
Step 1
Peel and core the apples, then cut them into small pieces and put them in a large bowl. Add the lemon juice and give them a good mix, then add the brown sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon powder, and toss them until well coated.
Step 2
Remove the puff pastry from the refrigerator, transfer it to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and then cut and prepare the puff pastry as demonstrated in the video. Spread the apricot jam along the center of the dough, then place the apples on top, and fold the top part of the dough over the filling.
Step 3
Fold the strips over the filling alternating the sides until well sealed, then gently press the ends and sides to seal, and brush the top with the beaten egg before sprinkling the pearl sugar. Place it in the preheated oven at 400°F, then allow it to bake for about 22 minutes until golden brown, and serve immediately or cool it down first. Enjoy!
