Aren’t these bunnies adorable? I absolutely love them, as you can make them in different colors and sizes! You can use them as decorations, just place them on your table or beside the eggs in a basket. You can also give them as souvenirs after the Easter party. They are very easy to make – you can finish one in just a few minutes! Learn how to make a bunny using a towel with Basteln mit Papier: Craft ideas‘ step-by-step instructions below.
Fold the towel in half diagonally to make a triangle. Rotate so that the folded edge is facing toward you.
Fold the tip of both layers, making the bunny ears, then secure with an elastic. Fix them so they are both facing front.
Fold the bottom edge three times up until the end of the ears, then fold it in half. Secure the front part with an elastic.
Overlap one side to the other , then fix the other side so that they both align. Fold the end twice inward just like in the photo below, then secure again with an elastic. Align the elastics together.
Take another elastic and tie the end to make the tail. Next, get two elastics and tie on the front part of the bottom fold to make the hands.
Make the eyes, whiskers, and nose using colored papers. Glue them onto the head. Fill the ears with cotton.
