However, repeating this chore over and over again can get pretty tiring, so it’s best if you have a few handy hacks up your sleeve that you can use in times of need.

While browsing the internet one time, I stumbled upon this video tutorial by Sandy Own Crafts on YouTube, I was instantly intrigued by this method, and I knew I had to give it a try. This hack will help you clean your toilet less frequently and make it smell amazing for 24 hours as it will emit a fragrant scent every time you flush the toilet. Plus, this trick is very inexpensive, too!
What You’ll Need for This Toilet Hack:
- Surgical mask
- A bar of soap
- Scissors
How to Make Your Toilet Smell Fresh:
Step 1
Get a piece of surgical mask, then cut off one end, and set it aside. Grab a bar of soap, then put it inside the pocket of the surgical mask. Grab the ends of the opening together, then tie it securely with the piece that you cut off earlier.
Step 2
Lift the cover of your toilet tank, then hang the soap in the surgical mask in a secure area inside the tank. Allow the soap to melt and mix into the water of the tank, then put the cover back into place, and flush the toilet.
