Choosing among all of the recipes that are available online can be a difficult thing to do because they all look so mouth-watering and yummy. But, when it comes to my favorite, I lean towards crockpot recipes more, I just find them more convenient and practical especially during busy days or when you’re preparing more than one dish to share with the whole family.

This pepper steak with onions by The Magical Slow Cooker on YouTube is a great option for me and is actually my go-to recipe. It’s so delicious and familiar to us because we would always order this for takeout so I don’t have to worry about my family liking the taste. This is a dish that I can probably eat every day without fail, it’s just so good that you can eat it as is, with noodles, or with rice.
Sauce
Step 1
In a heat-proof bowl, add the water and beef bouillon cubes, then place the bowl in the microwave, and heat it for about 30 seconds. Whisk them until the cubes have dissolved, then add in the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, ginger, garlic powder, pepper, brown sugar, and cornstarch.
Step 2
Continue to whisk until smooth and incorporated, then pour the sauce into the crockpot, and add in the beef strips followed by the bell peppers and onions. Cover the crockpot with the lid, then cook the beef on a low setting for about 5 hours, and serve as is or over rice. Enjoy!
