For the Hot Honey Sauce:
To serve (optional):
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F and line your baking sheet with parchment paper. Set it aside. Next, slice each chicken breast in half horizontally and set them aside. Season your flour with 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp ground black pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp paprika, and 1 tsp dried thyme. Mix well. In another bowl, whisk two eggs, then add 5 cups of crushed cornflakes with 3 tbsp of neutral oil in the last bowl.

Take one of the chicken breasts, dredge it in the flour mixture, coat it with the egg, then coat it in cornflakes. Repeat these steps with the rest of the chicken breasts and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Once done, place them in the preheated oven and bake them for 20 to 25 minutes. In the meantime, make the hot honey sauce.
Heat a small saucepan over medium heat, then add 1/2 cup runny honey along with 3 tbsp hot pepper sauce, 2 tbsp unsalted butter, 1/2 tsp smoked paprika, 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper, and 1/2 tsp garlic powder. Stir occasionally until the butter fully melts and everything is well combined. Drizzle this over the baked chicken and serve.
