I’ve always cut pineapples one way and the only way that I know how and has been taught to me, so when I found out that there is an easier method, I was really eager to find out how and apply it. There are times when I don’t feel like cutting a pineapple all the way through and cleaning it before I can get to eat it. So this technique is really something I know I would always use because it’s very convenient and you can eat the fruit more easily and quicker.

Method #1:
Using a paring knife, cut off the top part of the fruit, insert the knife, then cut in between each individual fruit creating a border, and remove the crown. Now, pick the fruit with your finger and eat it straight, or try rolling it over to make the fruit easier to pick, then push the fruit toward the center, and pull it out.

Method #2:
Cut off the crown and the base of the pineapple, then peel off the sides to expose the eyes, and cut off the eyes in a spiral pattern. Make sure to cut the eyes diagonally per row all around the pineapple, then cut the fruit into 4, and remove the core. Cut them into small bite-sized pieces and enjoy!
