Trimmed off the fat of the chicken thighs and place them in the slow cooker. Add 1/4 tsp dried oregano, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp onion powder, 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper, 1 1/2 cups of barbecue sauce, and a 12 oz can of root beer.

Once done, place the lid on the slow cooker, set it on low, and cook for seven hours. After this, shred the chicken using two forks and mix everything well. Serve them over rice or some buns. Enjoy!
