Pecan pie is usually made of crust, white sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, pecans, corn syrup, and brown sugar, but for this recipe, you are going to add cream cheese! It will enrich the flavors of the pie and make it even more special. Give it a try for the upcoming holidays and it may just become one of your favorite Thanksgiving recipes.

Start by preheating your oven to 375 degrees.
Add cream cheese to a medium bowl, and beat until smooth using an electric mixer.
Add the granulated sugar and beat until well combined, followed by 1 egg and vanilla. Mix again until smooth and well incorporated.
Transfer the cream cheese mixture to the pie crust and spread it evenly. Cover the top by sprinkling pecans over the cream cheese mixture.
Get a medium bowl, and beat 3 eggs until blended. Add corn syrup and brown sugar, then mix again.
Slowly pour the mixture over the pecans. Place the pie crust onto a lined sheet pan to avoid any spillage.
Place inside the preheated oven and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until it is golden brown and set. It should not jiggle in the center. If it does, place it back inside the oven and bake for another few minutes until set.
Once done baking, let the pie cool completely on a wire rack before slicing. Serve and enjoy!
