Add 8.45 oz apple cider in a saucepan along with 2 to 3 cloves and boil it for eight to ten minutes, until it reduces, then let it cool completely. Next, in a large bowl, add 1 1/2 cups of flour, 1 1/2 tsp baking powder, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, and 1/2 tsp nutmeg. Whisk well and set it aside. In another bowl, crack one egg and add 1/2 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 tsp vanilla extract. Mix well, then add 3 tbsp melted butter, the reduced apple cider, and 1 oz buttermilk. Continue to mix until combined.

Combine the wet and dry ingredients and gently fold them. Now, grease your donut baking pan with melted butter, then divide the batter into each hole. Place it in the preheated 350 degrees F oven and bake for 13 to 15 minutes. Once done baking, brush each donut with melted butter and coat with cinnamon and sugar mixture. Serve and enjoy!
